All pensions will be hiked next year as the size of the increase will become clear in September when the main parameters of the state budget are being determined, finance minister Simeon Dyankov said.
The government will focus on policies that lead to an increase in incomes than on bringing down VAT, Dyankov told the private bTV station on Wednesday. He, however, added that he believes VAT should go down but as this ides meets with wide opposition the government will put it aside for the time being.
The finance minister also said that revenues to the state budget reached an all time high in April, largely thanks to the linking of the companies' cash registers to the National Revenue Agency.
Dyankov reiterated the government's projections for 1.4% economic growth of the country this year.
