Petr Kellner, owner of Southeast Europe-active PPF Group, died on March 27 in a helicopter crash in Alaska, the Alaska State Troopers said.
Five of the six people in the helicopter, including 56-year-old Czech Republic resident Petr Kellner, were found deceased, the Alaska State Troopers said in a statement on Sunday.
The National Transportation Safety Board is due to investigate the reasons for the crash.
Petr Kellner's PPF Group was active in a number of countries across SEE, including Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro and Romania. The group's most notable investments in the region were in the telecommunications and media sectors.
