New Passenger Car Registrations in Bulgaria Grow 21.1% in Jan-Aug

New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria increased by an annual 21.1% to 23,685 in the first eights months of 2018, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday. In August alone, registrations of new passenger cars in the country grew 23.2% year-on-year to 2,344, ACEA said in a press release.New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased 6.2% year-on-year to some 10.9 million in the January-August period, according to ACEA. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations rose 17.6% to just over 1 million in the first eight months of 2018.In 2017, Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations rose 18.5% to 31,244.
