New Customs Agency Head Appointed

Finance minister Peter Chobanov  appointed  Pavel Tonev as head of the National Customs Agency, the finance ministry said on Monday.
Tonev will replace Kiril Zhelev, who has been named deputy finance minister. 
Tonev has occupied various positions in the customs administration. Prior to his appointment as director general of the National Customs Agency he was working as consultant on customs and excise duty legislation.
