The Bulgarian state is going to eliminate dishonest competition in the transport sector by crafting a new transport plan, promised Transport Minister Alexander Tsvetkov.<p>Speaking on bTV Monday, Tsvetkov said the new Car Transport Act will set up a new transport scheme, which will include the state railway company BDZ as well as the bus transport.</p><p>The Transport Minister believes that BDZ should not be given preferences but that there should be free competition in the transport sector, which currently does not exist because of the regulations in force.</p><p>"The new republican transport plan will be developed in the coming months. The tender for its development is starting this month," announced Tsvetkov promising that car traffic, buses and railways will be coordinated under the new system.</p><p>He said one of the measures to save the state railway company BDZ is to prevent people from traveling without tickets because BDZ is practically facing bankruptcy.</p>
