National Defense Minister Panagiotopoulos attends e-meeting of NATO defense ministers

National Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos attended a video conference of NATO defense ministers held on Tuesday.

With his counterparts, the Greek minister discussed the NATO 2030 agenda, which he said Greece supports as it implements new-generation operational planning and addresses the concerns of South European allies such as terrorism and mass migration influxes.

Panagiotopoulos also reportedly underlined Greece's support for the prospect of expanding the Allied fuel distribution system across NATO's eastern wing.

Additionally, ministers also discussed the upcoming Summit of Allied Leaders on June 14 at NATO's Brussels headquarters, and which is expected to look into the threat of terrorism, of cyber-attacks, the emergence of disruptive technologies, and the security impact of climate change.
