Minister Zornitsa Rusinova: State Allocates about 200 Million Levs Annually for Social Services

“About an average of 200 million levs is allocated annually for the financing of the social services delegated by the state.”
This is what Minister of Labour and Social Policy Zornitsa Rusinova said speaking with journalists in the town of Razgrad where she visited a social home for elderly people and a day-care centre for elderly people with disabilities, the press office of the ministry announced.
“The ministry of labour and social policy is working in cooperation with the national association of the municipalities on the reforming of the social homes for elderly people,” Ms Rusinova remarked.
She explained that thanks to the money from the OPs HR Development and Regions in Growth it would be possible to transform many of the existing social homes, to offer modern, high-quality and complex services for the elderly people in Bulgaria.
