Minister Traykov Invites Boeing To Bid for VMZ Arms Maker

Bulgaria's Economy Minister Traycho Traykov invited Boeing to participate in the privatisation of local arms producer VMZ Sopot and proposed mobile communications partnership to Motorola, the Economy Ministry in Sofia said.
Traykov, who paid a working visit to Canada and the U.S. last week, also suggested to Boeing to explore outsourcing opportunities in Bulgaria and noted that additional information regarding the privatisation of VMZ Sopot will be sent to Boeing, the ministry said in a statement released on Saturday, following Traykov's meeting with a senior Boeing official in Chicago.
