The Bulgarian presidency of the Council of the EU should result in a united, strong, digital Europe, Minister Lilyana Pavlova said during the discussion Bulgarian Ideas for Europe: Dialogue between Non-Governmental Sector and Government, Nova TV reported. During its presidency, the country will work for increasing the security for EU citizens, strengthening border control and a more efficient management of migration flows, Minister Pavlova stressed.
President (2012-2017) Rosen Plevneliev called for political unity within Bulgaria so as to show the best from the country during the EU presidency.
