NEWS - Telecommunications network interconnecting Greece and Bulgaria

VESTITEL perform of construction works for the new Fiber Optic network, between Greece and Bulgaria. This network is expected to be ready for use in approximately 5 months and will interconnect Sofia to Thessaloniki and Athens.

The new route, in combination with the existing fiber optic network, will form an entirely protected and fully diverse international backbone network between the aforementioned countries that will ensure the provision of fully redundant and higly reliable services. The interconnection between Thessaloniki and Athens will be established via strategic partnerships.

With this project VESTITEL's main objective to provide Leased lines, EVPLs, wavelengths as well as IP transit services at very competitive prices while maintaining the highest service quality will be easily accomplished. All the high-speed transmission capacities will be ensured by the national and international DWDM networks of VESTITEL Group delivering highest industry standards in customer service, operations and maintenance.
