The close friendship between Bulgaria and Israel has its practical dimensions. The bilateral relations have marked a serious boom over the past few years in the traditional spirit of mutual trust, friendship, cooperation and partnership. That was said by PM Boyko Borissov and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu during their meeting in Jerusalem. Both politicians remarked that their two states were standing on one side in the fight with extremism and terrorism. The two politicians discussed the potential opportunities for joint work in the energy sphere, mostly related to gas transportation. Mr. Borissov also spoke to President Reuven Rivlin within the frameworks of his visit. The rescue of the Bulgarian Jews from the Holocaust is one of the brightest pages of the bilateral relations, Boyko Borissov pointed out.
