Major reform in Greek social security legislation

At the beginning of May 2016, a new law was published aimed at reforming the Greek social security system. The new legislation provides for substantial changes to the way pensions will be calculated, as well as to the amount and type of social security, healthcare and auxiliary social security contributions, by also defining a transitional period, during which the reform will gradually come into force.
