Local co Buys Sofia’s Hilton Hotel for 24 Mln Euro

Ireland-based Quinn Group has sold its Hilton Hotel in the Bulgarian capital Sofia for 24 million euro ($32.4 million) to Global Properties Bulgaria, owned by local businessman Spas Rusev, news portal Dnevnik.bg reported.
The transaction was carried out at the end of October after several months of negotiations.
Rusev financed the deal with a 14.7 million euro loan, according to the news portal.
Last year, the businessman bought five-star hotel Radisson Blu.
Global real estate services company Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) was appointed at the beginning of the year as sole exclusive agent to offer for sale the five-star hotel.
