Lenders drag Sofia bourse blue-chip index further down

The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index registered back-to-back losing sessions as it closed 0.99% lower at 545.01 points on Tuesday.The two lenders among SOFIX components - First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:5F4] and Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] were among the top decliners on Tuesday, dropping 4.11% and 2.88%, respectively.The other major decliner among blue-chips on Tuesday was software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK], which saw its share price fall 3.57% to 0.54 levs.The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, decreased 0.70% to 108.78 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, slid 0.64% to 499.28 points.The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, rose 0.28% to 133.79 points, backed by a 6.43% rise in the share price of Aktiv Properties REIT [BUL:5AX].Total regulated market turnover amounted to 789,000 levs on Monday.
