Kuneva’s Party to Run in Elections on Its Own

The Bulgaria for the Citizens Movement led by former EU commissioner Meglena Kouneva will run in the 2013 parliamentary elections on its own, it leader said.

After the elections the Movement will by no means participate in a coalition government with the incumbent centre-right party GERB, the Bulgarian Socialist Party or the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, the state-run Bulgarian News Agency, BTA, quoted its leader as saying.

Speaking to the press on Sunday, Kuneva said a cabinet headed by her would bring employment rates to 72% at the end of its term in office, the Sofia News Agency (Novinite.com) reported.
