Kardzhali Municipality Calls Construction Works Tender

The municipality of Kardzhali, in Southern Bulgaria, has called a tender for construction works in a local park worth an estimated 3.9 million levs ($2.66 million/1.99 million euro), a notice in the European Union’s procurement journal indicated.
The deal consists of three separate lots and each one could be awarded to different bidders, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed. The municipality will award a contract for construction works and maintenance of the Arpezos-Sever park, estimated at 2.65 million levs, and two more, worth an estimated 1.25 million levs in total, for pavement replacement and the reconstruction of a local square.
The estimated contract value is indicated net of value added tax (VAT).
The works have to be completed within 12 months.
The project is co-financed by the EU-funded Regional Development Operational Programme and the ministry of regional development.
The municipality of Kardzhali will accept bids until October 28.
