January-July Budget Revenues Up 605 Million Leva Y-Y

Budget revenues between January and July rose 605 million leva from the like period a year earlier, the Finance Ministry said in a press release on Thursday.

At the end of July, there was a budget deficit of 720.5 million under the consolidated fiscal programme, or 1 per cent of GDP (450.6 million leva under the national budget and 270 million leva in EU funds). A year earlier, the budget deficit was 1,230.9 million leva or 1.7 per cent of GDP. (Source: BTA)
