Investments in infrastructure, the small and medium-sized business, as well as the construction and tourism sectors will be the main drivers of Bulgaria's economic growth in 2013, prime minister Boiko Borisov said.

Maintaining financial stability and investing in infrastructure were the biggest challenges the country faced in 2012, Borisov said in an interview for several local TV stations on New Year's Eve.

The prime minister also said he expects that the country would remain politically stable after the forthcoming general elections in the summer, adding that this is a prerequisite for avoiding an economic collapse.
