Tuesday, 22 November 2016
The results of the Interreg V-A cross-border cooperation programme between Bulgaria and Romania were discussed at an annual conference in Romania’s city of Kalaras. The total budget of the programme exceeds 258 million euros. 120 kilometer-long roads were reconstructed in those two countries under the programme. Five strategies, aimed at improving navigation security on Danube and the Black Sea, were developed. 100 tourist projects and 50 joint strategies, policies and plans for management of the cultural and natural heritage have been prepared under that programme, too.
