Information Services JSC Reports 7 Per Cent Rate of Return for 2016

Information Services JSC reported earnings of 20.1 million leva and an annual profit of 1.45 million leva for 2016, the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications said on Monday.

The company's profit was 8 per cent greater than the level set in the 2016 business plan. Its rate of return stood at 7.2 per cent, it cut costs by 2 per cent and increased the profit per employee by 8 per cent.

New contracts awarded to the company for 2016 included a system integration of Finance Ministry services for a period of 3 years, computer processing of the data from the presidential elections and national referendum, maintenance and development of the INTRASTAT integrated system of the National Revenue Agency, maintenance and operation of the Population National Database of the Directorate General of Civil Registration and Administrative Services, an upgrade of the Interior Ministry Internet portal, and management of other ICT projects. 

In 2016 Information Services JSC became a certified partner of SAP SE, one of the international software industry giants and a principal manufacturer of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
