Industrials Boost SOFIX, Trade in Elana Agrocredit Forms 61% of BSE Turnover

Trade in shares of financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA] generated a turnover of 230,280 levs, or 61% of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange regulated market turnover on Friday, as industrial stocks helped the main SOFIX index close higher in a second consecutive trading session.Elana Agrocredit shares closed 0.86% higher at 1.17 levs, as 198,466 shares in the company changed hands in 20 deals on Friday.Total trading turnover fell sharply to 376,193 levs ($223,300/192,340 euro) on Friday, from 7.46 million levs on Thursday, when trading in government securities formed over 96% of the turnover.
