Greek Inflation Rate at 0.8 pct in May, Eurostat Reports

The Greek annual inflation rate was 0.8 pct in May, from 0.5 pct in April and 1.5 pct in May 2017, Eurostat said on Friday.
In a report, the EU executive's statistics service said the annual inflation rate was 1.9 pct in the Eurozone in May from 1.3 pct in April and 1.4 pct in May 2017. In the EU, the annual inflation rate was 2.0 pct in May from 1.5 pct in April and 1.6 pct in May last year.
Ireland (0.7 pct) and Greece (0.8 pct) recorded the lowest annual inflation rates, while Romania (4.6 pct) and Estonia (3.1 pct) the highest rates.
