Greek Inflation Lowest in EU in Oct – Eurostat

Greece reported the lowest inflation rate in the European Union in October on an annualized basis - of minus 1.9%, followed by Bulgaria with minus 1.1%, and Cyprus with minus 0.5%, Eurostat said.
In the eurozone, the average inflation rate fell to 0.7% in October, from 1.1% in September, while in the EU the average inflation rate fell to 0.9% from 1.3%.
Electricity, housing and tobacco posted the biggest price increases in the eurozone, while diesel oil, telecoms and heating oil saw the biggest price declines.
