Greek Industrial Turnover Index up 19% in May

Greece's composite turnover index in the industrial sector (measuring both the domestic and external markets) grew 19% in May compared with the same month last year, after a 13.1% decline recorded in the 2016-2015 period, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Thursday.
The statistics service, in a report, said the index was up 9.1% in May from April 2017, while the average index in the 12-month period from June 2016 to May 2017 rose 8.4%, after a 13.2% decline recorded in the previous 12-month period.
