Greece welcomes Wednesday's vote of confidence granted in Libya's interim unity government by the House of Representatives, the Foreign Affairs Ministry stated on its website on the day.

Libya's interim Prime Minister Abdelhamid Dbeibah on Wednesday received the supportive votes of 121 of the 132 lawmakers present in the session.

According to a plan brokered by the UN, the transitional government is expected to lead the country to national elections scheduled for December 24.
