Greece to Pay 418.4 Mln Euro for State Arrears

Greek state budget earmarked 418.4 million euro to repay state arrears to the private sector, with final payments totaling 118.4 million euro in March, the State Accounting Office said in a report on general government accounts.
The general government earmarked 153.4 million euro to state agencies to repay general government arrears to the private sector, with final payments totaling 40.8 million euro in the month The general government’s arrears to the private sector reached 2.734 billion euro. The government paid 66.8 million euro for pending pension payments in March and 10.8 million euro to repay pending tax returns.
