Greece’s Sarantis Turns To Positive EBIT In Bulgaria In Q1

Greek cosmetics retailer Sarantis reported 80,000 euro ($109,300) in earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) in Bulgaria in the first quarter of 2014, compared to a negative EBIT of 80,000 euro in the same period a year earlier.
Consolidated turnover from operations in Bulgaria increased 3.51% on the year to 2.0 million euro in January-March, Sarantis said in a financial report on Wednesday.
Outside Greece, Sarantis has operations in Southeast Europe in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia.
