Greek authorities on Monday launched the operation of an electronic one-stop-shop service, a new digital tool for the set-up of new companies.
Dimitris Avlonitis, secretary-general of Commerce and Consumer Protection, speaking to ANA, said that the new service had its debut with the setting up of the first company, which lasted less than 40 minutes.
The platform will initially be available for the founding of one-person companies and will gradually - by the end of 2019 - expand to include all other forms of companies. The new service will be free of charge for the first year of operation. After that the cost will reach 30 pct of the cost of setting up a company in the traditional way.
