Greece has been converted from a source of problems to a source of solutions, US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt said on Wednesday at the Economist conference, while congratulating the new Greek prime minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and his government on a seamless transition and dedication to Greek-US relations.
He noted that the meeting between the new Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo during the Greek minister's trip to Washington, which started on Wednesday, indicate the speed at which U.S.-Greek relations are progressing, noting that they are now at their highest point yet.
