Greece Closer to Standing up on Its Own Feet Again, FinMin Says

Greece needs to do a little bit more to stand back up on its own feet again and this must be everyone’s goal, as it is the only road towards recovery. “This last route, the last few metres, could determine what’s going to happen in the future,” Greek Finance Minister Gikas Hardouvelis said on Tuesday, addressing the annual conference of Hellenic Businessmen Association.
The Greek minister noted that “my contacts with European partners have convinced me that everyone wants Greece to succeed and for this they will support the Greek government. It is self-evident that the Greek government will continue implementing reforms which will further enhance the Greek economy’s long-term prospects”.
