Govt Plans Tax-free Threshold of 340 Levs

The government plans to introduce a tax-free threshold of 340 levs as of 2014 in a move aimed to raise the disposable incomes of the poorest part of society.
According to government estimates, the step will cost the fisc some 150 million levs and will affect less than 200,000 Bulgarians, Capital Daily reported.
However, people with minimum wages will first have to pay the tax in 2014, to be then refunded the whole sum in a lump payment in 2015.
