Govt Mulls Interest-Free Loans to Businesses

The government plans to offer the businesses interest-free loans for the implementation of EU-backed projects, the Sofia News Agency (Novinite.com) reported, quoting deputy prime minister Daniela Bobeva.
The loans will be floated by the Bulgarian Development Bank for a period of two, three or five years, as the interest rate would be covered by the EU’s Competitiveness Programme, the news agency reported, quoting the bank’s director Bilyan Balev.
Balev also unveiled plans to set up an export bank to support local companies seeking to implement projects abroad.
