The outgoing government awarded а local tie-up a 35-year concession on the railway station in the country's second biggest city of Plovdiv.
The consortium, Zhelezopatna Gara - Plovdiv, which was the sole bidder in the tender procedure, will invest 11.2 million levs ($7.46 million/5.7 million euro) for the entire period of the concession, of which 9.85 million levs has to be invested in the first four years, the government said in a statement.
The concession fee for each of the first four years is fixed at 290,000 levs after which it will be raised to 412,000 levs and it will be a subject to indexation with the country's inflation rate every three years.
