GLOBUL WON GOLD AND BRONZE EFFIE 2011 FOR MOST EFFICIENT ADVERTISEMENT

The National Nature Parks Day and Generation GLOBUL communication campaigns won gold and bronze awards for most efficient advertisements in the Corporate Communication and Services Categories at the EFFIE Bulgaria 2011 festival. GLOBUL is the only advertiser which received two awards at this year's edition of EFFIE Bulgaria. The two campaigns were created by the advertising agency Ogilvy Group.

The campaign for this year's edition of the National Nature Parks Day initiative held under the motto ‘In Nature We Are At Home - Stop the Dirty Tricks' won gold EFFIE 2011 in the Corporate Communication Category. It was aimed at reminding that nature is our home and we are responsible for keeping it clean.

I would like to thank WWF for the thrust they have in us as a partner and to Ogilvy Group for their creativity and passion, and many thanks to all people who support green causes as well."- GLOBUL Head of Corporate Responsibility Section Hrisa Deliyska commented at the official award ceremony.

The National Nature Parks Day is a joint initiative of GLOBUL and the international environmental organization WWF aimed at protecting nature parks in Bulgaria. They hold about 80% of the country's wild nature territory and are among the most visited touristic places.  In 2010, some 3,000 volunteers took part in the National Nature Parks Day initiative, or 30% more than in 2009, and collected 12 tons of waste. The initiative once again ensured GLOBUL leadership position as the Bulgaria's green operator.

Generation GLOBUL communication campaign won bronze EFFIE 2011 in the Services Category.
