Globul Promotes Safe Driving In The Country

Within its Drive Safely national campaign, GLOBUL will distribute leaflets with tips for safe driving and car stickers with the slogan of the initiative in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Stara Zagora and Veliko Tarnovo.

The promotional campaign is held for a seventh year in a row and aims to encourage responsible use of mobile phones behind the wheel and to help improving the road safety in the country. Stickers and brochures will be distributed at central avenues, junctions and parking areas in the selected cities. The operator’s initiative will continue until July 14, inclusive. 

GLOBUL booklets give useful advices for driving in extreme situations, and recommendations for safe driving in urban areas. Moreover, brochures provide current list of main sanctions for road traffic offences stipulated in the Bulgarian Road Traffic Act. 

The ambassador of this year’s Drive Safely educational campaign is the four-time rally champion and GLOBUL Rally Team driver Krum Donchev, while the official partner of the initiative is Press Auto Club Bulgaria, whose members are automotive journalists from various media in the country. So far, GLOBUL partners in the Drive Safely campaign were institutions and companies such as Sofia Auto Transport, Traffic Police – Sofia, Sofia Municipality, the Union of Bulgarian Motorists and the taxi company OK SuperTrans.
