Germany Grants Low-Interest Loan of 100 Million Euros to Bulgaria for Energy Efficiency

Germany will grant to Bulgaria a low-interest loan to the tune of 100 million euros for different projects under the energy effectiveness program of the Bulgarian government. Sofia has decided to invest over 1 billion euros for the remediation of concrete bloc apartments and the German money will be aimed at such projects. Minister of Economy Bozhidar Lukarski has attended the loan contract’s signing in Berlin, as the document with the German Bank for Restoration and Development will be finalized on November 30.
