Karina Karaivanova presented her vision for the management of Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission, which consists of 10 points. The Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Finance Committee today heard Deputy Minister of Finance Karina Karaivanova, the only candidate for President of theFSC.
Karaivanova said there must be measures to revive and intensify the capital market of Bulgaria.
Asked by BSP MP Jelyo Boychev what can be done to revive the capital market, she replied that it is necessary to diversify the types of financial instruments through the creation of infrastructure for derivatives trading, greater liquidity and volume of traded securities, easier administrative procedures and computerization. Another proposal of her is to encourage companies and majority owners to increase the volume of freely traded shares, and to create a segment of BSE for SMEs to raise capitalon favorable terms.
