Former boss of Bulgarian fuel retailer Petrol Denis Ershov was charged Tuesday with misuse for 1.0 million leva (500,000 euro), the Bulgarian News Agency, BTA, reported.
Ershov, who was arrested at Bourgas Airport a day earlier, was released on bail of 500,000 million leva. He was detained because of an investigation of abuse of office at Petrol AD, BTA reported, quoting his lawyer.
A month ago Ershov exited Petrol Holding, selling his 47.5% stake to Kalmyk multi-millionaire businessman and politician Kirsan Ilyumzhinov.
