Foreign Investment into Bulgaria Tops 1 Billion Euros in Jan-Sept

Bulgaria has attracted some 1.1 billion euros in foreign direct investment over the first three quarters of this year, data from the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) has suggested. 
The amounts registered are 443.2 million euros, 355.9 million euros, and 302.4 million euros in the three quarters, respectively.
FDI was a negative 200.3 euros for the same period of last year due to a drop in debt instruments, the data shows.
A breakdown of biggest investors for 2015 places the Netherlands on top, followed by Austria, France, Norway, Belgium, and Italy.
Bulgarian investment abroad was at 76.6 million euros between January and September 2015, compared to 528.4 million euros for the same period of last year.
