Foreign Direct Investments Increase by 825.3 mllion euros in Jan-July

Foreign direct investment in Bulgaria for January - July 2014 increased by 825.3 million euros (2% of GDP), compared to an increase of 1070.8 million euros (2.7% of GDP) for January – July 2013.
In July 2014 the increase was of 74 million euros, compared to a increase of 246.4 million euros in July 2013, according to preliminary data released by Bulgaria's National Bank.
The equity capital for January - July 2014 amounted to 107.9 million euros. It decreased by 523.1 million euros compared to that attracted in the same period of 2013 (631 million euros). The receipts from real estate investments of non-residents amounted to 68 million euros, compared to 85 million euros attracted in January - July 2013.
