First Meeting of Bulgarian Economy Minister with OECD Chief of Staff

Caretaker Minister of Economy Teodor Sedlarski Thursday met with Gabriela Ramos, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Chief of Staff and Sherpa to the G20, Sedlarski's Ministry said. 
The sides discussed the prospects and Bulgaria's opportunity to become a member of the organisation. Sedlarski confirmed this country's intention to join the organization. Ramos, in turn, expressed readiness for full cooperation to help Bulgaria undertake the necessary steps and become a member. 
Bulgaria has adopted and action plan relevant to accession to OECD, it was underscored. The meeting was also attended by the Bulgarian Ambassador to France, Angel Cholakov, as well as experts.
