Finance minister Simeon Dyankov unveiled a list of measures to spur the country's economic development during next year at an annual get-together of business leaders and top government officials in Sofia.
As the most important measure Dyankov pointed to the adoption of a realistic state budget by the end of the week, state-run Bulgarian News Agency reported.
Government paying back the local businesses on time, cutting red tape and supporting Bulgarian businesses in entering new markets, such as the Middle East, India and China, were among the other highlights on the list.
Dyankov singled out tourism as a top priority sector which has increased its contribution to the country's gross domestic product, and expressed optimism that sports tourism in the country will pick up after a second large hall Arena Armeets opens in Plovdiv by the end of 2013.
