FDI in Bulgaria Reach 1.4 Bln Euro in 2012 – Econ Min

Foreign direct investments (FDI) in Bulgaria amounted to a preliminary 1.4 billion euro ($1.8 billion) in 2012, the economy ministry said.

The figure will be revised over the next 15 months and is expected to reach some 2.0 billion euro, the ministry said in a statement, quoting economy minister Delyan Dobrev.

In 2011, FDI in the country reached 1.75 billion euro.
