Representatives of Bulgarian agricultural organizations and the Ministry of Agriculture discussed the priorities for the next six-year EU programming period.
The subsidy distribution by sector should be presented in Brussels by July 31, Bulgarian National Radio informs.
Dimitar Zorov, co-chair of the National Cattle Breeders Union told the national radio that the organizations have reached a consensus for the first time.
“All 31 professional organizations in the sector have agreed on the new agricultural policy regarding direct payments and have submitted it to the Ministry. We insist that the maximum subsidies should not exceed EUR 300,000. It is important to emphasize that the calculation of the maximum subsidy will not include wages, insurances and taxes,” Zorov said.
