On June 27th, 2017 Postbank organized a stylish business event at Royal’s Hall of Sofia Hotel Balkan.
Over 200 representatives from Bulgarian and Greek biggest companies were brought together at a luxury ceremony for the launch of the new Greek International business desk of Postbank. The fifth most successful bank of Bulgaria aims to develop an excellent quality of its products and services for the Greek customers in Bulgaria.
The event was supported by the Greek Embassy in Bulgaria and with the collaboration of Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria.
Mrs. Petia Dimitrova, Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Management Board of Postbank, Mr. Fokion Karavias, Chief Executive Officer of Eurobank Ergasias S.A., Mr. George Provopoulos, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Postbank welcomed warmly the quests, among which were H.E. Grigorios Vassiloconstandakis, Ambassador of Greece, H.E. Stavros Avgoustides, Ambassador of Cyprus in Bulgaria, Mr. Stamatios Theodoropoulos, Chairman of HBCB and HBCB Board of Directors.
Special guest was Dr. Platon Monokroussos, Chief Economist of Eurobank, presented analysis of the financial results in the global economy and the financial markets trends in the region.
Many members of HBCB and friends enjoyed the event, which culminated with selected wines and fine specialties from the Sofia Hotel Balkan's cuisine.

HBCB Business Breakfast Meeting with H.E. Mr. Dimitris Chronopoulos, Ambassador of Greece to Bulgaria
On December 12th, 2019, HBCB organized a business breakfast meeting with H.E. Mr Dimitris Chronopoulos, Ambassador of Greece to Bulgaria and Mr Theodosios Vallas, Minister Plenipotentiary for Economic and Commercial Affairs. Moderator of the meeting was Mr. Minko Gerdjikov, Executive Director of HBCB. The event was hosted at the elegant renovated Serdika hall of Sofia hotel Balkan and was attended by more than 80 Greek and Bulgarian managers and HBCB members and representatives from the Greek Embassy. Special guest was Mr. Andreas Beikos, Head of Office European International Bank Group Office for Bulgaria.
Digital Marketing & Business Growth by Globe One
On 28th of November HBCB’s esteemed member Globe One Digital embraced the challenge of offering its expert knowledge of the secrets of digital marketing in an intensive seminar, addressed to more than 100 Hellenic Business Council of Bulgaria members. The event was organized in collaboration with Globe One at Sofia Hotel Balkan as part of Globe One Digital’s five-year anniversary celebrating its presence in Bulgaria.
