Eurogroup Recognizes Progress in Implementation of Greek Programme

The Eurogroup has reportedly recognized the progress made in the implementation of the Greek programme and confirmed the positive climate of the previous days, government sources said after the end of a meeting of Eurozone’s finance ministers on Monday afternoon.
The same sources said the 2-billion-euro loan installment for the country is ready to be disbursed in the coming days, along with 10 billion euros for the recapitalization of Greece's four systemic banks.
In a related development, European Commission spokesman Margaritis Schinas confirmed, earlier in the day, that European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker spoke on the phone with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Sunday. Schinas said their talks focused on the preparation of the Eurogroup meeting as well as the refugees issue.
