EU to Approve Next Loan Tranche Disbursement to Greece Shortly

Finance ministers of the eurozone are expected to approve the disbursement of the next tranche to Greece - 5.7 billion euros - within a few days and possibly as soon as the Eurogroup on February 19, according to an official source in Brussels.
The official said there are only three outstanding prior actions of a technical nature. They include the privatisation of the Hellenic Gas Transmission System Operator (DESFA) and the Hellinikon airport project, and the issue of foreclosure auctions.
DESFA is progressing, the Hellinikon is awaiting a Council of State decision, and Greece's partners are reviewing the efficiency and continuity of the auction process, he said.
