EU Commissioner for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic to Visit Bulgaria on September 15

European Commission Vice-President in charge of Energy Union Maros Sefcovic is to visit Bulgaria on September 15. The visit of Sefcovic to Bulgaria will be part of his Energy Union Tour, which was launched in May.
During the tour, he is visiting the member states of the EU to present the benefits of the union to each country. The commissioner has already been to the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Germany, Latvia, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Hungary, Portugal, Slovenia, Croatia and the United Kingdom as part of his tour.
The completion of an Energy Union aims to ensure that Europe has secure, affordable and sustainable energy. It will allow for a free flow of energy across borders and a secure supply in every EU country, while new technologies and renewed infrastructure will cut household bills and create new jobs and skills. It will lead to a sustainable, low carbon and environmentally friendly economy and put Europe at the forefront of renewable energy production and the fight against global warming.
