EP Committees Approve Mariya Gabriel as Commissioner-designate for the Digital Economy and Society

Mariya Gabriel, the Bulgarian Commissioner-designate for Digital Economy and Society, Wednesday received approval from all European Parliament Committees which gave her a hearing on Tuesday, BTA learned from EP sources.
Gabriel is expected to be approved by the European Parliament in July and by the EU Council.
She will be responsible for this portfolio until mid-2019 and will be Bulgaria's third commissioner so far.
