Emporiki Bank presents the exhibition "The Archives of the Planet" at the National Art Gallery

Photographs of a unique planet archive depicting the life of mankind in the colors of the last century, compiled by a French banker-millionaire, philanthropist and internationalist - Albert Kahn. Emporiki Bank for a second consecutive year is a major partner of the French Culture Institute in Bulgaria. After the unique exhibition of Degas sculptures, now the Bulgarian audience will enjoy the world's first color photographs, including some from Bulgaria, so far not shown here. In the period 1908-1930 Albert Kahn personally financed the voyages of photographers in over 50 countries around the globe. Its collection consists of 72,000 autochromes, now stored in his museum in Paris, including 60 clichés from Bulgaria.
